Client: Fluor Hanford, Inc.

In response to our client’s highest priority project, GForce staff was asked to lead the deployment of Hanford’s spent fuel retrieval system. GForce staff managed the Fuel Retrieval Systems (FRS) Project at Hanford’s K-West Basin for the Spent Nuclear Fuel (SNF) Project, providing project management, engineering, and project controls support during the design, construction, testing, and turnover phases of the project. Significant contributions to the FRS Project included:

Developing, maintaining, and implementing a detailed FRS K-West project technical baseline, during a period when the project was experiencing numerous changes due to technical problems.

Managing the successful completion of the FRS K-West Project construction, testing, and turnover to Operations for beneficial use to meet the Phased Startup Initiative for Fluor Hanford, Inc.

Developing and benchmarking the FRS K-East project technical baseline in preparation for continuing the FRS project at the K-East Basin.
